‘Ek Din’ Trailer: Junaid Khan, Sai Pallavi’s Romance Has A Hint of Fantasy With Arijit Singh’s Mesmerising Vocals
The trailer of “Ek Din” is out. Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi star in this film, which has been mostly shot in Japan. For starters, this movie looks like a break from the hyper masculine action movies that we’re seeing of late. It is a normal love story with a relatable character. As we know, “Ek Din,” is a romance with a hint of fantasy. Shows like South Korea, China and Japan have been using fantasy elements quite well in love stories. In the trailer, we can see that Junaid Khan’s character secretly loves Meera (Sai Pallavi) and hopes she too falls for him. He wishes for the same in front of a wishing bell in Japan and a miracle happens.
Slowly, we see how she too falls for him, and he is on cloud nine. The visuals of the movie are gorgeous with snow all around. With elements of a soft romance, it has the K-drama vibes, which is something popular with Gen-Z. Junaid Khan seems to be in his element and Sai Pallavi looks as dependable as ever. The movie is directed by Sunil Pandey. The makers have filmed “Ek Din” in the Sapporo Snow Festival, which is a cultural highlight of Japan. There is no denying that “Ek Din” has a freshness, which is quite charming.
Junaid Khan was last seen in “Loveyapa” that also starred Khushi Kapoor. It was released in February 2025. “Ek Din” is coming to the theatres on May 1, which is perfect given the summer holidays for school and college kids. The reaction on social media seems to be good with people praising the vocals of Arijit Singh's "Lapatta" in the background. Aamir Khan had gone to meet Arijit in Jiagang for his film.
