Diljit Dosanjh Gets Permission for October 30 Concert in Delhi

The Delhi Police have granted permission for Dilijit Dosanjh’s October 30 concert. For those unaware, his upcoming Delhi concert had previously hit a wall after the Delhi Police denied permission for the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium show, citing security concerns. The development had put the planned opening concert of the singer’s “Aura India Tour” in uncertainty, just days before he was scheduled to perform in the National Capital.

ANI had reported that the police refused permission for the concert on security grounds. A report by Hindustan Times had mentioned threat related inputs among the concerns behind the decision. Authorities also reportedly raised concerns about security during the festive period and the need to ensure law and order. The event organizers had submitted an application seeking permission to hold the concert.

The singer also shared a video on social media, opening up about having faith in divine intervention. In the video, Diljit said, "Whenever someone tries to pull you back, whenever someone tries to sabotage your work, you actually end up with more energy. Sometimes it happens that the job is not for you, you deserve something even better, focus on that. That's definite. It's true and it's also a commandment; there is no commandment outside of it."

He added, “Whatever is happening, is happening by its command. If today, you are suffering because of that thing, if today you are facing a hurdle because of it, it may be happening for your good and for your betterment in the future.”
