‘Dhurandhar’ to Re-Release in Theatres Worldwide a Week Before ‘Dhurandhar 2’
With “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” just a week away from its theatrical debut, the makers have announced that the first instalment, which originally released in December 2025, will return to the big screen beginning today. The film is being re-released across approximately 500 screens worldwide, including 250 screens across India starting March 12 and another 250 overseas beginning March 13.
The re-release offers a chance to audiences to revisit the film that has become one of India’s hits, before experiencing the sequel,a few days later. The strategy allows audiences to watch both chapters of the saga back to back on the big screen.
While re-releases of popular older films have occasionally taken place in India, global re-releases of Hindi films remain rare. In North America alone, the film will return to theatres across nearly 185 screens, signalling strong anticipation for the next chapter.
