With ‘This Is Who We Are,’ playback singer-composer Madhubanti Bagchi has begun a new chapter in her performing career. She embarks on an India-wide tour through 2026 and early 2027 and spans several cities – Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Sambhajinagar, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai – through November 2026 and February 2027.

Her mega-hits “Aaj Ki Raat” (“Stree 2”), “Uyi Amma” (“Azaad”), “Shararat” and “Ramba Ho” (“Dhurandhar”) topping charts and breaking streaming records are no accident. It comes from a perfect blend of Hindustani classical training under the Agra Gharana and her her own modern pop sensibility.

Fans can expect a two-hour live setlist that is ripe in sonic contrasts: “Nazariya Ki Maari” (“Heeramandi”), “Peelings” (“Pushpa 2: The Rule” - Hindi), “Barbaadiyan” (“Shiddat”)and “Ishq Hai” (“Mismatched”) along with her biggest hits.

She promises to honor the audience’s time and has enforced a “a strict, 100% authentic ‘no lip-sync’ live guarantee backed by a massive orchestral band,” according to a press note.

"Performing live is where music truly comes alive for me, and this debut tour is the culmination of everything I’ve worked toward,” shares Bagchi, adding, “For years, people have connected with my voice through movie screens and streaming playlists, but 'This Is Who We Are' is about breaking down that digital wall. I’ve waited a long time to look my fans in the eye and share this energy with them and it’s going to be an unforgettable, completely live celebration."

Abhinav Kumar Upadhyay, Managing Director of (the tour organizer) Perfect Harmony Productions states, "Madhubanti Bagchi represents a rare, generational shift in the live music landscape. Her ability to anchor a massive commercial production while maintaining the soul of classical fusion is exactly what live audiences have been craving. This tour is a high-production celebration of where Indian music is heading."

Bagchi has ensured that her debut tour will be accessible to everyone and won’t have VIP seating to ensure that every attendee enjoys “an equal experience,” with special student category passes starting at an accessible INR 499.

The tour kicks off on Nov. 14 in Hyderabad and the last announced date is Feb. 13 in Mumbai. Dates for Indore, Lucknow/Varanasi, Jaipur, Patna, Guwahati and Bhubaneshwar are yet to be announced.
