‘Dhurandhar 2’: Ranveer Singh Wraps Up Dubbing for Aditya Dhar’s Spy Action Thriller (EXCLUSIVE)
Ranveer Singh starrer “Dhurandhar,” which released last year in December, turned out to be a box-office phenomenon across the country. With this spy-action-thriller emerging as the highest Bollywood grosser of all time, the excitement around the second part is off the charts among cinegoers.

Variety India has exclusively learned that the lead actor Ranveer Singh has finished dubbing for “Dhurandhar 2.” In the first part, he portrayed an underdog character and apart from expressions and nuances, his voice played a critical role in bringing out the emotions of intensity and vulnerability as Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

The expectations from “Dhurandhar 2’ are sky-high as it has the potential to become the first Hindi film to enter the ₹1000-crore club in the domestic market.
Apart from Ranveer, the movie will also see Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera and Manav Gohil reprising their characters from the first part.
Unlike the first part, “Dhurandhar 2” (“Dhurandhar: The Revenge”) will also be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, who also helmed the first part, “Dhurandhar 2” is bankrolled by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
The editing department is handled by Shivakumar V. Panicker, while the camera is cranked by Vikash Nowlakha. Shashwat Sachdev has composed the album for the movie.
“Dhurandhar 2” is set to hit the screens on March 19 and will lock horns with the Yash-starrer “Toxic” at the ticket windows.
