Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar's most anticipated action spectacle “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” has officially been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification, CBFC, and the film is approximately six minutes shorter than what was previously reported in the media.
“Dhurandhar 2” has received an “A” certificate and has the runtime of 229.6 minutes, which translates to 3 hours and 49 minutes. This makes it 15 minutes longer than “Dhurandhar,” which had a runtime of 214.1 minutes (3 hours 34 minutes).
The new chapter, as mentioned in the censor certificate, focuses on Ranveer's character Jaskirat Singh Rangi aka Hamza Ali Mazari, who, after the death of Rehman Dakait, begins plotting his rise in the gangster-terror-political network of Pakistan in order to bring India's enemies to justice. The sequel is expected to be bigger, bolder, and more intense than the first installment, with heightened action, emotion, suspense, and violence.

“Dhurandhar 2” has been tracking exceptionally well in advance bookings and is set for a historic opening at the box office. The film is believed to have already collected nearly ₹25 crore in advance ticket sales, and is projected to open in the range of ₹75–80 crore on its first day, setting an all-time opening record. The film starts showing in theatres tomorrow at 5 pm onwards in paid premieres, with the full-fledged theatrical release on March 19.
