‘Dhurandhar 2’ Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s film Crosses ₹10 crore mark for its First Day in Advance Sales
Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2” is becoming a global phenomenon at the box office. The spy actioner has been shattering records in its pre-advance sales in India and overseas markets.
While the film has already emerged as the highest preview grosser in India, surpassing Pawan Kalyan’s “They Call Him OG,” “Dhurandhar 2” has already earned ₹10.76 crore for its opening day in the pre-advance sales.
The film has sold over 2,81,751 tickets for the first day across 148 cities with an average occupancy of 17 per cent. With still four days to go for its release, “Dhurandhar 2” has all the chances to emerge as the biggest Bollywood opener of all time.

Maharashtra has been the biggest contributor for its opening day with approximately ₹2.9 crore, followed by NCR (₹1.99 crore), Karnataka (₹1.36 crore), Gujarat (₹0.98 crore) and Rajasthan (₹0.50 crore).
The expectations from “Dhurandhar 2’ are sky-high as it has the potential to become the first Hindi film to enter the ₹1000-crore club in the domestic market.
Apart from Ranveer, the movie will also see Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera and Manav Gohil reprising their characters from the first part.
Unlike the first part, “Dhurandhar 2” (“Dhurandhar: The Revenge”) will also be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, who also helmed the first part, “Dhurandhar 2” is bankrolled by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
The editing department is handled by Shivakumar V. Panicker, while the camera is cranked by Vikash Nowlakha. Shashwat Sachdev has composed the album for the movie.
Based on the trade data, Variety India is predicting an opening day collection of ₹115 crore gross across languages in India and ₹200 crore worldwide, including the paid previews.
