‘Dhurandhar 2’ Box Office: Ranveer Singh-starrer Crushes Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ To Create All-Time Premiere Record For A Hindi Film in North America
While the countdown for the grand arrival of Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has officially begun among the cinegoers, the film is currently busy achieving new benchmarks in presales across the globe.
The spy-actioner, which is set to arrive on March 19, has grossed $982,374 across 678 locations from 1,684 shows, selling 61,491 tickets, as per Venky Box Office.
The film has earned $1.2 million at the North American box office for its premiere show through advances. It has already become the highest Bollywood pre-screening grosser in the market, surpassing the business of Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” ($1 million).

With six more days to go, “Dhurandhar 2” has all the chances to cross the $2 million mark in the North American market. On the other hand, it has already emerged as the Biggest Bollywood grosser in the preview shows, crossing the business of “Stree 2.”
Apart from Singh, "Dhurandhar 2" also sees R. Madhavan (as Ajay Sanyal), Arjun Rampal (as Major Iqbal), Sanjay Dutt (as SP Chaudhary Aslam), Rakesh Bedi (as Jameel Jamali), Danish Pandor (as Uzair Baloch) and Sara Arjun (as Yalina Jamali) among others reprising their roles.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, it is bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The music of the film is composed by Shashwat Sachdev and the camera is cranked by Vikash Nowlakha. Unlike the prequel, the spy action thriller will also be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The music of the film is set to hit the screens on March 19 and will lock horns with Pawan Kalyan-starrer “Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”
