‘Dhurandhar 2’ Advance Bookings Open as Ranveer Singh–Aditya Dhar Sequel Gears Up for Release
The countdown to the release of “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” also known as “Dhurandhar 2,” has officially begun. The film, which is set to arrive in theatres on March 19, 2026, is among the most anticipated releases of the year. The makers have now opened advance bookings across cinemas nationwide starting today.
Adding to the momentum, the film will host paid preview shows from the evening of March 18, giving audiences an early chance to watch the sequel before its official release. In an interesting move to build excitement, the first instalment of the franchise, “Dhurandhar,” which originally released in December 2025, was also brought back to theatres as a warm up to the sequel.

The original film returned to cinemas across approximately 250 screens in India starting March 12 and another 250 screens overseas beginning March 13. The strategy appears to be paying off, as tickets for the paid preview shows are already nearly sold out in several parts of the country. It now remains to be seen how the advance bookings perform for the Ranveer Singh starrer in the coming days.
Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the spy action thriller promises to raise the stakes with high octane action and a gripping revenge driven narrative. Singh is joined by an ensemble cast that includes R. Madhavan as the strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, Arjun Rampal as the menacing ISI Major Iqbal and Sanjay Dutt as the formidable SP Chaudhary Aslam.
Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, the film is written, directed and produced by Aditya Dhar, with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar serving as producers. “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” will release in five languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
