BTS’s ‘Hooligan’ MV: J-Hope, Jimin, RM Stand Out in A Goth-Inspired Concept Directed By Hannah Lux Davis
BTS’s “ARIRANG,” has been creating records on all charts. The band released the music video for “Hooligan” after “SWIM,” and “2.0.” It looks like they explored a dark concept much like Enhypen with liberal use of black and red. The first shot of Jin with heavy eye makeup will remind you of their debut days.
“Hooligan” is the song produced by El Guincho (Pablo Diaz-Rexia), Fakeguido, Jasper Harris and Ghstloop. It seems Jungkook has also played a crucial role in the musical arrangement for the song. The video has been filmed by Hannah Lux Davis who has worked with Halsey, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and a host of other Western singers in the past.

The highlight of “Hooligan,” is J-hope’s part. It looks like the song was made for him. From his rap to his dance, he owns it and how. In terms of visuals, Jin and Jimin get all the attention.
The eldest hyung of BTS, Jin is rocking the leather grunge look. The styling will remind fans of the “We Are Bulletproof” concept pics released during the time of Permission of Dance. The boys look great in the leather, silver chains and baggy jackets. The choreography is also very stylish for the song.
“Hooligan,” was one of the songs that got mixed response after its release. After seeing the MV, many fans felt that this perhaps would have been a better option as a first drop. However, “SWIM” is doing great on all charts. The underground set-up for BTS is in sync with their hip-hop roots. Today, a new episode of “Run BTS” was also out. The world tour of the K-Pop band begins soon.
