BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’ x ‘Dhurandhar 2’: Indian Fans Flood Social Media With Mash-Ups

The music world is waiting for the comeback of BTS with “ARIRANG.” Bangtan Sonyeondan’s fifth studio album has 14 tracks and will be released on March 20. They will also hold a live concert from Gwanghwamun Square, which is close to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Top music producers like Ryan Tedder, Diplo and El Guincho are part of the album. As ARMY had guessed, “ARIRANG” also honors the seven young Korean men who went to the US in 1896 and introduced Americans to the Korean folk song, “ARIRANG.” Indian fans are also trying their best to promote the album with the general population of the country.

As we know, the first title track of “Dhurandhar 2” is “Aari Aari”. It is a remake of the original number composed by the Bombay Rockers. The rapper from Meghlaya Reble is also a part of the same. Fans could not help but notice the similarity between “ARIRANG,” and this song. Today, a part of the music from “ARIRANG” was released and the beat is very catchy. It seems it is from the lead track, “SWIM.”  It is in the alternative pop genre. RM (real name: Kim Namjoon) is the main composer and writer along with Tyler Spry and Leclair.

Indian BTS fans are making multiple mash ups videos of “Dhurandhar 2” with the beats from BTS’s “SWIM.”

"Dhurandhar 2," is touted to be the biggest hit of 2026 in Indian cinema. It tells the story of Jaskirat Singh Rangi/Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh) who infiltrates Pakistani territory as an Indian spy.
