BTS is top of the wishlist for headlining picks for Coachella organizers Goldenvoice, as per US trade publication HITS Daily Double. The K-Pop superstar boy group is being “heavily wooed,” say reports, while Australian rock group Tame Impala, pop star Dua Lipa and EDM superstar Fred Again… are all expected to get top billing at the popular music festival held in Indio, California over two weekends (April 9-11 and 16-18)
Coachella has become one of the most prestigious and must-attend music festivals in the world and this is primarily because of the diversity of global talent it attracts year after year. The coming year’s edition is likely to repeat that with early sales tickets already sold out.

Tour-wise
With hits like “Dracula” ft JENNIE and “Loser” this year, Tame Impala has had a fantastic year and is currently on the "Deadbeat" album promotion tour with dates locked all the way till October 25, 2026. After this, the only announced dates for the tour are May 28, 2027 onwards till July 10. Dua Lipa has no tour dates announced since wrapping up her Radical Optimism Tour. Meanwhile, Fred Again... is visiting India between December 5-13 on an announced three-city tour (Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru) with Mumbai and Bengaluru getting two shows each.
BTS, currently in Los Angeles for the American leg of the BTS World Tour 'ARIRANG,' head to Bogota, Colombia then to Peru's capital city Lima, then Chile's capital Santiago, followed by Argentina's capital city Buenos Aires and end their South American leg with Brazil's Sao Paulo before heading back to Asia in November and December covering Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. They then close out the announced tour dates with stops in Australia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

If current reports hold true, it will mark Tame Impala's fifth time performing at Coachella (in 2019, 2015, 2013 and 2011). Fred Again... replaced Frank Ocean in 2023. Dua Lipa made a guest appearance during a Martin Garrix set in 2017. If talks go through, it will mark Dua's headlining debut with a full set and new music.
Apart from BTS, the organizers are also keenly eyeing SZA, Oasis, and Radiohead for the final headlining spot, with Miley reportedly turning down an offer.
