Connor Storrie and Billie Lourd to Lead Ryan Murphy’s ‘Love Story Season 2: Buckingham Nicks’

Ryan Murphy has officially revealed the theme and cast of “Love Story” season 2, and the next chapter is diving into one of music’s most famously messy and mythologized relationships. Titled “Love Story Season 2: Buckingham Nicks,” the new installment will examine the volatile personal dynamics that helped push Fleetwood Mac into global superstardom.

Led by Billie Lourd ("American Horror Story") and Connor Storrie ("Heated Rivalry"), the series as per American Horror Stroy's social media handles, will focus on the emotional and creative chaos surrounding Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, whose relationship has been one of the most enduring chapters in the band’s legacy. Their romance, fallout and artistic tension became deeply tied to Fleetwood Mac’s music and public mythology, making the story a natural fit for Murphy’s anthology world.

What makes the project even more interesting is that Stevie Nicks herself will serve as an executive producer on the series. That alone gives the show an added layer of intrigue, especially considering how closely guarded and emotionally loaded this chapter of music history has always been.

The newly announced cast includes Billie Lourd, Connor Storrie, Dominic Sessa, Alex Wolff and Lucy Boynton. The ensemble signals that the show may lean heavily into both the emotional drama and the performance-heavy side of the material.

With “Buckingham Nicks,” Murphy appears to be tapping into a story that already comes with a built-in fascination. Few music histories carry this much heartbreak, tension, betrayal and cultural obsession in one package. It is also the kind of story that naturally fits into the larger Ryan Murphy machine, where fame, dysfunction and emotional excess often collide.

The first season of “Love Story” already established the anthology’s interest in high-profile relationships, and season 2 looks set to go even bigger in terms of emotional scale and cultural recognition.

“Love Story Season 2: Buckingham Nicks” is set to premiere in 2027. With Murphy behind it and Stevie Nicks directly involved, the show is already shaping up to be one of the more closely watched music dramas in development.
