‘Bhooth Bangla’ Box Office: The Horror-Comedy Edges Past ‘Rowdy Rathore’ to Make It to Akshay Kumar’s Top 10 Openers List
Akshay Kumar’s “Bhooth Bangla,” which released yesterday, opened to a good response at the box office. Despite the dominance of Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2,” the film has managed to garner footfalls at the ticket windows.
The horror-comedy raked in ₹12 crore on its opening day with ₹3.2 crore during paid previews, as per Recobee.AI. It has emerged as Kumar’s 10th biggest opener, beating “Rowdy Rathore.”

The film has gained momentum, with ₹5.76 crore in bookings for today and ₹4.13 crore for tomorrow. Looking at the current scenario, “Bhooth Bangla” is expected to cross the ₹50-crore mark in its opening weekend. With no competition at the box office, the film is likely to enjoy a free run.
