‘APEX’ Trailer: Charlize Theron Fights For Survival In The Jungle With A Serial Killer Hot On Her Heels

Charlize Theron who is known for her movies like "Atomic Blonde," "Mad Max: Fury Road," "Hancock," and more is back with "APEX." The film is going to release on Netflix on April 24. She is playing the role of Sasha, who is an adrenaline junkie. She sets off on a trip to the wilderness where she wants to spend time with nature and indulge in river-rafting. However, surviving in the jungle becomes a lot tougher with a serial killer chasing her. 

Taron Egerton plays the serial killer and looks pretty menacing. The actress is known for her action-packed movies and this one is no different. 

APEX has been filmed in Australia and some of the action scenes look quite promising. The sequence where she defies the danger of sharp river rapids to escape from the killer looks tense. The trailer also packs in a suitable amount of intensity with Charlize Theron bringing in resilience, courage and determination as she fights off her attacker. 

It is set in the setting of Wandarra National Park featuring dense jungles, gorges and gorgeous views of the mountains. Eric Bana is also a part of the movie. 

Jeremy Robbins is the writer of the movie while Baltasar Kormakur is the director of the same. The actress won the Oscar in 2003 for her film, "Monster's Ball," and is a part of Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," as well.
