‘Aadu 3’ Worldwide Box Office: Jayasurya-starrer Set to Enter the ₹100 Crore Club
Jayasurya-starrer "Aadu 3: One Last Ride Part-1," which released alongside Ranveer Singh-starrer “Dhurandhar 2” and Pawan Kalyan’s “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” has emerged as a huge money-spinner at the global box office.
The fantasy action comedy collected ₹32.35 crore (gross ₹38.15 crore) in the domestic market and ₹54.85 crore at the overseas circuits. “Aadu 3” now stands at a total collection of ₹93 crore at the global box office and is set to enter the ₹100 Crore Club by today or tomorrow.
It is currently the highest Malayalam grosser of the year and will hold its position until the arrival of “Patriot” and “Drishyam 3” (Both starring Mohanlal), which are expected to open big in Kerala. “Aadu 3” is directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, who also helmed the previous two parts alongwith films like “Annmariya Kalippilaanu” and “Alamara” among others.
The film also sees Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Renji Panicker, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bhagath Manuel, Indrans, Bijukuttan, Sudhi Koppa and Harikrishnan reprising their roles, with Alleya Bourne and Krishna Jeev being the new additions.
The music of the film is composed by Shaan Rahman and Dawn Vincent.It is jointly produced by Vijay Babu and Venu Kunnappilly under the banners of Friday Film House and Kavya Film Company. While the film has already entered the list of highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time, the sequel titled “Aadu 3: The Ride Ends - Part 2” is in progress.
