Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Teaser Out: Geetu Mohandas Unveils Dark First Look At Ambitious Action Saga

After months of anticipation and mounting curiosity, the makers of “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups” have finally released the film’s first teaser, following an initial look and multiple character posters. One of the biggest Indian releases of the year, Geetu Mohandas’ action saga has become a major talking point as it now stands exactly a month away from hitting theatres.

Starring Yash in the lead, the big-budget film has been kept tightly under wraps, making every piece of footage a significant event for fans eagerly awaiting the project. The newly released teaser offers a striking glimpse into the film’s grim, hyper-stylized world. A stark visual palette dominates, hinting at a narrative shaped by violence, moral ambiguity and psychological intensity.

Yash appears as Raya at the centre of a blood-streaked blizzard, surrounded by the aftermath of unseen brutality in a chaotic, intoxicating landscape. With very few story details revealed so far, the teaser leans heavily on atmosphere, visual texture and character intrigue, amplifying speculation about the film’s scale and tone. It also provides the first concrete sense of direction for a project whose premise has largely remained under wraps until now.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Nayanthara as Ganga, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca and Rukmini Vasanth as Melissa. Written by Yash and Mohandas, the film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

“Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups” is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. At the box office, the film will clash with Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, setting the stage for one of the year’s biggest showdowns.
