‘Vrushakarma’ Glimpse Review: ‘Laapataa Ladies’ Actor Sparsh Shrivastava Steals The Show With His Sinister Avatar in Naga Chaitanya-starrer
After an intriguing first look, the makers of "Vrushakarma" dropped a glimpse of the Naga Chaitanya starrer on social media. The promo of the mystic thriller looks like the battle of good versus evil, with Sparsh Shrivasatava of “Laapataa Ladies” impressing with his sinister avatar as he features as a chilling antagonist.
In the promo, Sparsh’s character is seen using dark magic to kill his target. The sinister personality, who has possessed by the lead villain, makes him twist and contort. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya is seen as a treasure hunter in film, which is looped into mythology.

Apart from the lead cast, Zarina Wahab and Jayaram are also seen in a glimpse of "Vrushakarma."
The makers of the film described it as: “Welcome to the world of 'Vrushakarma,' a Mythical Spectacle Like Never Before Starring Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary.”
The film is directed by Karthik Dandu, who previously helmed Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon starrer “Virupaksha.” The film is bankrolled by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings.
The music of the film is composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath, who is behind the tracks of Rishab Shetty starrer “Kantara.”
On the work front, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in “Thandel,” which also featured Sai Pallavi, Aadukalam Naren, Divya Pillai, Karunakaran, Kalpa Latha and Babloo Prithiveeraj among others in prominent roles. Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film was bankrolled by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts. Despite garnering mixed word-of-mouth, it grossed ₹100 crore at the global box office.
