‘Vash’ actor Hitu Kanodia and Director Krishnadev Yagnik Team Up For Their Fourth Film (EXCLUSIVE)
“Vash” actor Hitu Kanodia is expanding on his diverse filmography with his next being a light comedy film with a dose of romance. Filmmaker Krishnadev Yagnik will be directing the project. One of the blockbuster director and actor duos of Gujarati cinema, they have reunited for their fourth film.

Indian cinema lovers know Kanodia as Atharva from the “Vash” movies. His performance as the devastated father of Aarya (Janki Bodiwala) in the franchise is hailed as one of the best in Indian horror movies. “Vash Level 2” is also the first Gujarati movie to get an OTT release on Netflix. Earlier, in a conversation with Variety India, Kanodia spoke about how Krishnadev Yagnik and he are a dream team stating that he understands Yagnik’s cues even without the filmmaker having to explain them in detail before a scene. He also shared that they are exploring concepts for “Vash 3” as they wish to take the franchise ahead.
At the same time. Kanodia is also exploring projects in the Hindi film industry. An actor and a politician, he is also the son of late actor and singer Naresh Kanodia, who was one of the biggest names in the Gujarati film industry.
Gujarati cinema has been making news with the successes of movies like the "Vash" franchise and the 2025 blockbuster "Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayte."
