The serial, which is about Aryavardhan (Sharad Kelkar) and Anu's (Niharika Chouksey) love story is poised at a crucial juncture. As the two fall deeply in love, Jalandhar (Sai Ballal) raises doubts in the minds of Anu. He tells her about the connection between Arya's former wife, Rajnandini and Rajeev Bhatia. The real name of Sharad Kelkar's character is Rajeev Bhatia on the show. Anu starts investigating and discovers letters written by Rajnandini to Rajeev Bhatia, which further raises her doubts.

There are rumours that Sharad Kelkar's wife Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar will be joining the show in an extended cameo.
