They say it takes a village… so, ahead of the ‘Harry Potter’ series that begins airing later this year, this special looks at the people who make it all happen. The unsung heroes, the craftspeople who will bring the series to life.
WHY WATCH: Why wouldn’t you? Even if you aren’t a Potterhead, this should be on your watchlist to marvel at the scale of this production.

Toaster (Netflix)
Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra star in this mad caper after a couple try to retrieve a toaster they gifted a couple, after the wedding is called off.
WHY WATCH: The zanier, the better when it comes to Rao. He excels at these common man roles.

Balls Up (Prime Video)
Mak Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser headline this comedy where two marketers struggle to get out Brazil alive after they make one single error in judgment.
WHY WATCH: They’re going to need more than a bold new condom to protect them. Watch to see how they manage.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles (Apple TV+)
Based off the 2024 book by Rufi Thorpe, it stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman and Nick Offerman. A young mom struggling to make ends meet, she takes advice from her parents to get by.
WHY WATCH: I guess it would be relatable to a bunch of people that it resonates with. The cast also seems like a very good reason to not miss it.

Someone Has To Know (Netflix)
A Chilean suspense drama, this limited-series story about the search for a missing teen, is based on true events. Stars Paulina García and Alfredo Castro.
WHY WATCH: Don’t hide it, everyone’s a sucker for true-crime stories. Language no bar.
April 15 is when it drops.
BEEF S2 (Netflix)
Anthology series BEEF returns for Season 2 with a new cast. At a country club, newly engaged Austin Davis (Charles Melton) and Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) face off against their boss, general manager Joshua Martin (Oscar Isaac) and his wife Lindsay (Carey Mulligan).
WHY WATCH: Will be fun to see a Gen-Z pair go up against an older millennial couple. Eleven-time Grammy winner Finneas O’Connell is scoring the music for the new season.
The eight-episode run kicks off April 16.
Youth (Netflix)
Ken Karunas stars in and directs this coming-of-age tale of Praveen, an adolescent who wants to find true love before he leaves school.
WHY WATCH: This Tamil film had a great theatrical run. Watch in your language of choice.

Ronaldinho: The One And Only (Netflix)
Charting his journey from his childhood to superstardom, the series follows the life and times of Ronaldinho Gaucho, Brazilian footballing superstar.
WHY WATCH: Football/soccer is your life and it’s always good to know more about your sports heroes.
The series drops April 16.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh (Netflix)
Coming to streaming almost a month after the theatrical release, this Telugu movie directed by Harish Shankar and starring Pawan Kalyan, is about an upright cop who doesn’t suffer fools or bullies.
WHY WATCH: Only if you’re a die-hard fan who missed watching it on the big screen

Gorilla Story (Netflix)
Veteran naturalist Sir David Attenborough tells the story of a remarkable group of gorillas, from his first encounter in the '70s to the present day. David Attenborough tells the remarkable story of his first encounter with the baby gorilla Pablo, how that gorilla grew up to be a top Silverback and how Pablo's direct descendants are doing today.
WHY WATCH: ‘Told by David Attenborough’ should be reason enough.

We Are All Trying Here (Netflix)
In a world where envy and jealousy run rampant, a group of people struggle to find inner peace in this South Korean drama.
WHY WATCH: When you’re down on your look and go no further down, the only way is up. Worth watching if you’re a fan of the genre and if you go by the literal translation of the title: “Everyone Is Fighting Against Their Own Worthlessness.”
Premieres on Netflix April 18.
