‘STR 51’: ‘Dragon’ Director Ashwath Marimuthu’s next with Silambarasan TR Explores The Concept of Paradise

Ashwath Marimuthu, who scored a blockbuster with Pradeep Ranganathan's "Dragon" last year, is now collaborating with Silambarasan TR on his next film, tentatively titled “STR 51.”
The announcement of this fantasy rom-com was made last year with a video, in which Simbu was shown playing ‘God of Love.’ In a recent event, director Ashwath spoke about the plot of the film and said, "The story explores the concept of sorgam (Paradise). In ‘Dragon,’ we spoke about education and what happens when you make mistakes. In the same way, we will understand what paradise means. The film will not be preachy."

Confirming the casting of Santhanam, he added, "There is also a fan-favourite music composer in it. We are still finalising the female lead, but I can say that there is more than just one female lead in it. Silambarasan will also be dancing for the film, something that he hasn't done in a long time."
Meanwhile, Simbu is busy with Vetri Maaran's “Arasan.” The gangster features Silambarasan in dual roles along with Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani and Kishore in key roles. The film is bankrolled by Kalaippuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations, while the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. While the shooting of the film is in full swing, “Arasan” is expected to be released in the second half of the year.
The film belongs to the world of 2018’s “Vada Chennai,” which featured Dhanush in the lead role.
