Simiran Kaur Dhadli flips script on romance with ‘Dilbarjaani’ music video featuring Sunny Singh
The woman of today owns the space she’s in, she doesn’t just inhabit it. Simiran Kaur Dhadli, one of the most striking voices to emerge in Punjabi music in the last half-decade, embodies that spirit. That’s most evident in her single, out on streaming today (Feb. 27, 2026), “Dilbarjaani,” which underscores that confidence and resolute self-assuredness of a woman who leads and loves on her own terms.
“Dilbarjaani,” written, composed and sung by Dhadli, who premiered the music video today, where she is seen carrying off four distinct looks with her signature flair. With striking frames, it shows off the persona she has built over time.
The singer shares, "For me, “Dilbarjaani” is about owning your space – loud, honest & equal. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to fit into someone else’s idea of love. There’s intensity and admiration, but the woman decides how she’s seen and loved. She knows she is valued, she is loved and she stands strong in it.”
