Sidhu Moose Wala’s ‘Signed to God’ Hologram Tour Gets Postponed Indefinitely

The "Signed to God" world tour is an ongoing 3D hologram tour that acts as a tribute to Punjabi-Canadian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala. Following two shows in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena and Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, the rest of the tour was halted.

The upcoming Calgary and three US shows were abruptly cancelled on October 19, with refunds set to be issued in the coming weeks. The Indian rapper’s father posted a statement announcing the same and cited the recent death of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota as well as ongoing political tensions in Punjab.

Balkaur Singh shared a statement on Instagram reading, "Sidhu Moose Wala’s Signed to God Tour is being temporarily postponed in light of the current situation in Punjab and the ongoing protests following the death of activist Parminder Singh Jhota. For me, my constituency, Mansa and my Punjab always come first. I sincerely apologize to all my brothers and supporters in Calgary and America. This time, I could not make it to be with you. But I assure you that very soon I will be among you, and I will bring your brother Sidhu Moose Wala to you in an even bigger and better way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love, support and encouragement."

He thanked the fans in Toronto and Vancouver who sold out the first two gigs.

Moose Wala was assassinated on May 29, 2022, by unidentified people in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, Punjab. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, including Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, has claimed responsibility for the killing.
