Shah Rukh Khan’s Dubai Schedule for ‘King’ Called Off Due to Middle East Conflict
By Sakshi Navare
Shah Rukh Khan’s "King" is not going to Dubai. The Dubai schedule of the film has been called off due to the ongoing conflict in Middle East, with the team now planning to shoot the initially planned large-scale desert action sequences in Mumbai.
According to Mid-Day, director Siddharth Anand was set to kick off the action-packed international leg on April 9, with Suhana Khan and Anil Kapoor leading the shoot. The schedule was locked months in advance, and all the necessary permissions were already procured to shoot in the Emirates. However, the recent dynamic situation in the region prompted the makers to rethink the safety concerns of the cast and crew, thereby cancelling the schedule.
