Saurabh Goyal of ‘Sankalp’ and ‘Daldal’ Fame Signs ‘Akelli’ Director Pranay Meshram’s Next (EXCLUSIVE)
After web series like “Sankalp” and "Daldal," actor Saurabh Goyal will be seen as the leading man in the upcoming film "Change Is Beautiful,” directed by Pranay Meshram. The movie is produced by Zubair Ahmed and Sandeep Banatwala. Ahmed has been a production manager on projects like “Sister Midnight" (2024) and the internationally acclaimed series "The Suitable Boy" (2020), directed by Mira Nair.
Set in the early 2000s, “Change Is Beautiful" captures a transitional phase in urban India, reflecting the contrast between fast-paced, ambition-driven city life and a more grounded, rooted existence.

The film has been shot across Mumbai, Wai, and Bhor in Maharashtra. While Saurabh plays the central character, the movie also has two other actors in pivotal roles. While the story of the movie is under wraps, the narrative is reportedly an exploration of choices that transform our lives and how unexpected incidents play a role in shaping our destiny. “Change Is Beautiful” is packed with nostalgia in terms of its setting and aims to entertain viewers in a meaningful way.
Speaking about the film, Saurabh shares, “What drew me to this story is its simplicity and honesty. It’s about how life can surprise you when you’re pushed out of your comfort zone and how those moments end up shaping who you become. Playing this character has been a deeply enriching experience.”
Pranay Meshram’s last film was "Akelli," which had Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead role.
