Rising K-Pop Sextet TWS Announce Fifth Mini-Album ‘No Tragedy’

The introduction most K-Pop fans have had to the six-member TWS (pronounced 'Two-Us') has either been their first mini-album "Sparkling Blue" (Jan., 2024) or the breakout lead single "plot twist." They recently unveiled a teaser for their fifth mini album "No Tragedy" with a release date included: April 27, 2026.

First introduced as a surprise on the final day of ‘2026 TWS 2nd Fan Meeting & Club In Seoul,’ the video has the TWS members (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin rushing in to a dimly lit room before gathering to catch their breath. As they suddenly turn to face the camera, the screen cuts to a bold reveal of the album title and the release date.

TWS is a boy group introduced by PLEDIS Entertainment, the group name, an abbreviation of ‘TWENTY FOUR SEVEN WITH US.’ They're the 'champions' of what they're calling Boyhood Pop, a self-invented genre, which charts their evolution and has been described as 'refreshing' and 'unstoppable.'

"plot twist" went on to become a long-running hit, a chart-topper on Billboard and Melon (Korea’s leading streaming platform) charts alike. After "Sparkling Blue, came "Summer Beat!" followed by their first single "Last Bell," third mini album "Try With Us" and "play hard."

"No Tragedy" seeks to explore TWS’ take on romance and channels their determination to break past limitations and run headfirst toward love, “showcasing their youthful evolution beyond their innocent boyhood days,” their label, PLEDIS Entertainment, stated.
