Ranveer Singh-led “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” also known as “Dhurandhar 2,” has already set the stage for a massive box office opening. According to the latest numbers, the film opened its advance bookings with the trailer drop yesterday at 11:01 a.m. and has already sold more than 1.4 lakh tickets, bringing in close to ₹10 crore in collections on the first day of advance sales.

Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, “Dhurandhar 2” is one of the most anticipated films of the year and is set to hit the big screen on March 19. The trailer, which is already going viral online, has significantly intensified the buzz around the film and positively impacted the advance bookings for the sequel to the spy drama.

The ensemble cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi among others.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” has recorded strong advance booking numbers in its first phase. Across India, the film has sold 1,42,748 tickets for its premiere day across 6,684 shows nationwide, taking its advance collection to ₹8.83 crore.

The biggest contributor to the advance booking collection is the Hindi (2D) version, which has generated ₹8.69 crore from 1,35,998 tickets, with an average ticket price of ₹434 across 6,457 shows.

The other language versions have also added to the tally. The Tamil (2D) version has grossed ₹6.18 lakh from 4,258 tickets, while the Telugu (2D) version has collected ₹5.98 lakh from 2,276 tickets. The Malayalam (2D) version has brought in ₹42,419 from 136 tickets, and the Kannada (2D) version has grossed ₹28,100 from 80 tickets.

Unlike the first film, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” is set to release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, expanding its reach across markets. If blocked seats are also included, the film is already looking at a potential opening of around ₹13.25 crore on day one, a figure expected to grow significantly in the coming days leading up to its release.

While “Dhurandhar 2” officially releases on March 19, the film is confirmed to have paid previews on March 18, 2026.
