Rajkummar Rao, Keerthy Suresh Paired For ‘Raftaar,’ Blocks July 24 For Theatrical Release
Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh are set to share screen space for the first time in Raftaar, which is scheduled to release in theatres on July 24. The makers confirmed the project today, unveiling the title along with the film’s theatrical release date.
Directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, Raftaar is being positioned as “a gripping drama of ambition, love and greed.” The announcement was made through a social media post featuring the film’s title logo. “Ambition built it. Greed will test it. #Raftaar, releasing on July 24, at a theatre near you,” read the caption accompanying the reveal.

According to early reports, the film is set in a high-stakes world where ambition fuels success and power often comes at a cost. The story is said to revolve around a fast-rising startup and the charged relationship between two fiercely driven individuals, a supremely ambitious man and an equally determined woman , whose personal and professional lives become deeply intertwined.
The cast also includes Anurag Thakur, Rohan Verma, Tanya Maniktala and Rajat Kapoor, rounding out an ensemble that brings together a mix of emerging and established performers. The project is backed by Patralekhaa in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
For Rao, Raftaar adds to a busy slate of upcoming projects. The actor recently wrapped filming for the Ujjwal Nikam biopic titled Nikam and has also confirmed that he will portray former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly in an upcoming biographical drama.
Keerthy Suresh, meanwhile, continues to build a diverse lineup across industries. With Raftaar, the actor steps into another Hindi-language project.
