Production House Behind ‘KGF,’ ‘Kantara,’ Hombale Films, Enters Overseas Distribution

A prominent Indian production house, known for bankrolling pan-India blockbusters like “KGF Chapter 1,” “KGF Chapter 2,” “Kantara,” “Kantara Chapter 1,” “Salaar” and “Mahavatar Narasimha,” has officially announced its official entry into overseas distribution.

Sharing the news on its official social media handles, Hombale Films said, “Cinema connects hearts beyond every distance. From India to the world, our stories travel far and wide. With gratitude and quiet excitement, Hombale Films steps into Overseas Distribution carrying the spirit of Indian cinema beyond borders, across industries, and into hearts everywhere.”

This strategic expansion marks a new chapter in the company’s journey, driven by a vision to take Indian cinema to a wider global audience. With a strong track record of mounting large-scale films that resonate across languages and cultures, Hombale Films now aims to build a structured and focused international distribution network.

Importantly, this initiative will not be limited to films produced by Hombale Films. The company will collaborate with filmmakers and production houses across India to ensure diverse Indian stories reach audiences worldwide.

By stepping into overseas distribution, Hombale Films strengthens its commitment to expanding the global footprint of Indian cinema, bringing it closer to viewers in every corner of the world. 

Meanwhile, the production’s next biggie is “Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.” The big-budget movie features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Easwari Rao, Tinnu Anand, Devaraj, Brahmaji and Mime Gopi.

It will be directed by Prashanth Neel, who also directed the first part and is the man behind Yash starrer “KGF” and “KGF 2.” “Salaar 2” will be one of the most expensive Indian films.
