Prince William and Kate Middleton Attend BAFTA Film Awards Amid Royal Family Drama
It was a pleasant surprise to see Prince William and Catherine (formerly known as Kate Middleton) in a floor-length pink Gucci dress walk the red carpet at BAFTA Film Awards 2026. The couple did not speak to the media but headed straight inside the Royal Festival Hall. However, they greeted senior officials from all the organizers of the gala night. It became obvious that Prince William is a movie buff. He was caught on camera saying: “I thought ‘F1’ was a fantastic film, mainly because of the music. I’ve seen ‘One Battle After Another’ with Leo, I thought that was quite good.”
He admitted that he had not seen “Hamnet,” considered as one of the most successful films to come out of Britain in 2025. It is directed by Chloé Zhao. Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley were the main leads with the latter winning the award for the Best Actress.
