‘Never Let Go’ Visualizer: LNGSHOT Members Take Fans Back To Their Pre-Debut Days With A Lyrical R&B Number

The visualizer for “Never Let Go”, LNGSHOT’s fifth single from their album “Shot Callers” was released today. The K-Pop boy band, signed to Jay Park’s More Vision, has found a fresh legion of fans right from the release of the lead single, “Moonwalkin”.

LNGSHOT has four members Ohyul (REAL NAME: Kwon Oh-yul), Ryul (REAL NAME: Kim Ryul), Woojin (REAL NAME: Jeong Woo Jin) and Louis Lim (REAL NAME: Louis Elliot Jourdian Lim). Fans of Korean pop know how idols start building a fan base right from their trainee days. The song “Never Let Go” is full of visuals from their pre-debut era. This adds to the music video, which captures teenage passion. A lot of candid moments make it enjoyable for fans.

The song is in the lyrical hip-hop genre, which has been the trademark of LNGSHOT. It has a bit of electronic pop thrown in as well. Jay Park has brought together a group that is skilled in vocals, music arrangement and songwriting. Unlike “Moonwalkin”, this song takes some time to grow. The rap part of “Never Let Go” stands out when you hear it for the first time. The band has played a key role in the composition and musical arrangement. Joining them are Mehti and Eric Minz. The latter is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer who experiments with alternative R&B, soul music and K-Pop. “Moonwalkin” did really well on global Spotify charts with 20 million streams. With “Never Let Go” they are proving that they are here to stay!

Jay Park, who was raised in the US, is known as one of the big musical personalities of the South Korean hip-hop scene. He has been very active in the underground music scene in the country. After a controversial start to his career in South Korea, Jay Park became one of the biggest success stories in the sphere of Korean hip-hop.
