From Aditya Gadhvi, Anuv Jain and Kayan to Indian Ocean and Scribe: All the Indian Indie Acts At Lollapalooza India 2027
A total of 45 artists feature in the official lineup at Lollapalooza India 2027, revealed yesterday via their social pages. While the headliners include Limp Bizkit, Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, Fontaines DC and 5 Seconds Of Summer and a bevy of international artists, the upcoming fifth edition has as many as 26 Indian indie acts (including those of Indian origin). That’s more than the total number of Indian acts that featured in last year’s lineup: 15.

Among the newly popular names, Gujarati folk singer Aditya Gadhvi, best known for “Khalasi,” “Rang Morla” and “Meetha Khara” toplines the Indian list this year, followed by the likes of singer-songwriter Anuv Jain, DJ Kayan, rapper Yashraj, Curtain Blue (Abhishek Bhatia), Janisht Joshi, Karshni, Anoushka Maskey, the Delhi-based Dohnraj and the Peculiars, RANJ vs Clifr (Ranjani Ramadoss and multi-instrumentalist/producer Chlipher Christopher), Kerala-based band Shanka Tribe, Rafiki (Sohail Arora), Indian-origin American country artist Calcutta Cowboy (Arkin Pal), Shriya Rao and Noni-mouse (DJ/Producer Radhapriya).
From the old-guard Grammy winner Ricky Kej takes the stage alongside Stewart Copeland, Maneesh On The Beat recently got a shoutout on Drake’s “Iceman” but has been a known Indian-Canadian DJ/Producer for a while now. The Manganiyar Seduction is a celebrated traveling Rajasthani folk troupe known for their stage productions. Indian Ocean is one of the earliest pioneers of rock fusion in the country. Blackstratblues and Scribe are two Indian acts who have consistently been crowd favorites. Donn Bhat is a singer-songwriter and producer. The Lightyears Explode is a three-piece punk rock band from Mumbai.
