KING calls new single ‘Bulletproof’ from acting debut ‘Lukkhe’ ‘deeply personal’ (EXCLUSIVE)
“Bulletproof,” the first track from Prime Video India series “Lukkhe,” released today (April 16).
The single features high-energy rap by singer songwriter and rapper KING (real name: Arpan Kumar Chandel), while singer Amira Gill adds rustic, desi vocals. KING debuts in and plays a pivotal role in the series, which releases May 8.
The track has singer-songwriter KING performing alongside Amira Gill. The two share composing credits with Karan Kanchan who has also produced the music for the track along with UKato. KING and Manreet Khara share writing credits for “Bulletproof.”
Set in Chandigarh, “Lukkhe” unfolds against a backdrop of high-octane heists, rap rivalries, drug syndicates, and intense action sequences. Raashii Khanna, Lakshvir Saran, Shivankit Singh Parihar and Palak Tiwari also feature in the cast. “Bulletproof” marks the first track from the show, with more releases expected soon.
