It’s A Valentine’s Day Wedding For ‘Stranger Things’ Actress Maya Hawke And Musician Christian Lee Hutson
By Garima Sharma
Maya Hawke picked Valentine’s Day for her wedding to musician Christian Lee Hutson, and the event turned the middle of a New York street into a full-blown parade of family and friends. People snapped photos as the newlyweds and their guests strolled together after the ceremony. Predictably, those shots didn’t take long to make the rounds online.
For the ceremony, held at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan on February 14, Maya wore a white dress with a long train and threw a feathery coat over her shoulders. Christian went classic with a tuxedo, white waistcoat and a bowtie. Her parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, walked alongside—Uma in a blue gown, Ethan attired in black.

She and Christian go way back; they first met during some music sessions and ended up collaborating on her albums, including “Chaos Angel” in 2024, which he helped produce. Christian’s got his own stuff too, like the album “Paradise Pop. 10,” where Phoebe Bridgers pitched in.
Christian confirmed their engagement in a 2025 interview, and Maya was spotted with a ring right after. Not long after that, they made their first public appearance together on a red carpet in April 2025 for a Broadway show starring Sadie Sink. They also grabbed front-row seats at the Milan Fashion Week.
After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed to The Players Club for the reception. The couple hasn’t shared any official photos yet. Maya’s got a busy year ahead, with projects like “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” coming up.
