She is represented for her solo work by P Nation. Today, her fans are celebrating as Rolling Stone Korea has listed it as the ‘Song Of The Year’. “Good Goodbye” termed as the heartbreak anthem of the year in 2025 went viral on social media after her performance at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards. She also became the first female soloist to get an all-kill on the local music charts of South Korea. Well, “Good Goodbye”, which was described as a soulful song with 80’s inspired pop and synth sound is not the only banger sung by Hwasa. Here is a look at her top songs to get introduced to the talented and stunning singer.

‘Good Goodbye’

“Good Goodbye” was released as a digital single on October 15, 2025. Hwasa along with An Shin-ae has written the song. As a solo artist, Hwasa is signed onto P Nation, and this has turned out to be one of her most acclaimed works. Hwasa along with Park Woo-sang composed the song. The orchestral arrangement was done by Duomo. The music video also features Park Jeong-min who featured in the hit film, “Harbin” (2024). The chemistry between the two is another big reason behind the song touching a 100 million views on YouTube.

‘Maria’

Hwasa’s “Maria” made a splash on social media with the rapper and vocalist’s sultry avatar. Hwasa, who is known for her candor, spoke about how she faced immense judgement for her looks in her pre-debut days. “Maria” that has a similar messy aesthetic like “Good Goodbye” talks about living her immense scrutiny and need for authenticity. Hwasa teamed up with “Good Goodbye” creator Park Woo-sang for “Maria” in 2020. It had trap, synth and Latin pop elements. They also wrote the song.

‘TWIT’

This is another successful collaboration between Hwasa and Park Woo-sang with Kim Do-hoon joining them. The trio composed the song, and wrote the lyrics. We can see that her successful bangers do not have multiple songwriters like many K-Pop songs in recent times. ‘TWIT’ was also about self-reflection after a relationship. The music had elements of trap and tropical house.

‘I Love My Body’

Hwasa has made full use of her artistic talent to promote body-positivity, self-confidence and need for self-awareness in her videos. “I Love My Body” addresses the intense beauty standards in South Korea, which many female idols have openly spoken about. Ahn Shin-ae (lyricist of “Good Goodbye”) collaborated with her on the song. She was also the composer with Yoo Geon-hyeong. “I Love My Body” released on September 6, 2023.

'Star'

Hwasa and music producer Park Woo-sang (LOGOS) also collaborated for the single, "Star". She just sang the number, which was written and composed by him. It is known as one of her most soulful songs ever. Star's live performance is loved by fans for her gorgeous vocals and charisma.
