From ‘Aadu 3’ and ‘Batchmates’ to ‘Straight To Hell’ and ‘Man on Fire’: Streaming This Week

Reality shows, medical dramas, action thrillers try and wrest your attention away from long-running shows and docu-series. This week is a free-for-all, no-rules, anything goes kinda week with no real standout champ to cheer from those in the ring. But there’s plenty to watch and that’s never a bad thing.

NETFLIX
Straight To Hell S1 
Based on the life of Japan’s most famous fortune teller Kazuko Hosoki. Find out about every rumor and scandal surrounding her over eight episodes.
WHY WATCH: Who doesn’t love a good biographical drama that’s ripe for cooler conversations.

Je M’appelle Agneta
A recently unemployed Agneta leaves “safe” Sweden for a fresh start as an au pair for a “Swedish boy” in Provence, France. A Swedish film based on the Emma Hamberg bestseller.

Should I Marry A Murderer?
Hold on to that thought in the title for a minute. Then put yourself in the shoes of Caroline Muirhead, who’s faced with an impossible choice: stay engaged to her fiance who has confided in her that he’s a murderer or tell the truth?

Brilliant Minds S2

Neurologist Oliver Wolf (Zachary Quinto) and his team at Bronx General continue to try different, sometimes revolutionary, approaches to treating their patients.
WHY WATCH: There are medical dramas galore on TV, this one is based on a real-life neurologist.
New season premieres in India April 28.

The Cult Of Natureboy
All about Eligio Bishop, a social media influencer with a god complex who created ‘Carbon Nation,’ a cultish group in the rainforests of Costa Rica.

Trackers S3
Based on “The Never Game” by Jeffrey Deaver, the new season follows lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) travel across the country helping find missing people and also taking up assignments that interest him.
WHY WATCH: Hartley is a decent actor. Also Jensen Ackles in a recurring role on the show as Shaw’s estranged brother means they’re doing something right.

Batchmates
Is college life all that it’s made out to be? Four first-year engineering students are about to find out.
WHY WATCH: This Telugu series rides high on the relatability around college life -- friendships and real-life problems.

Set in Manali, the new season keeps exploring the shifting dynamics within the Atwal family and an ongoing investigation that involves them.

Aadu 3
The third instalment of the beloved Malayalam film franchise is also the first of a two-part film.

Detective Dhananjay - Rahasyajaal
The Marathi show follows a sharp detective who investigates a murder along with his aide Chotu.
