Former ENHYPEN Member Heeseung Confirms Upcoming Solo Album in May
The sudden departure of Heeseung (real name: Lee Heeseung) from ENHYPEN was one of the most shocking news from the world of K-Pop in 2026. BELIFT LAB announced the news through their online platform and was met with scathing criticism on how they handled the matter. They confirmed that he had made up his mind to leave ENHYPEN and would focus on his solo career.

Later, in a note on Weverse Heeseung mentioned that he did not wish to hamper the activities of ENHYPEN as he pursued his solo work. He said it would be unfair to prioritize himself before the group. Fans again called out the agency for the schedules of the boy band that did not allow them flexibility to pursue solo careers as well.
Today, in a fan call Heeseung confirmed that he is working on his solo project. He hinted that the new album might come out in May. When fans asked him if it would be in the R&B genre, he simply smiled. Heeseung was known as one of the most talented members from ENHYPEN. He is still under BELIFT LAB but as a solo artist.
ENHYPEN, the boy band is now functioning as a six-member team. The current members are Sunghoon, Jungwon, Sunoo, Jay, Jake and Ni-ki. Heeseung was with them for more than six years. He was introduced on the reality show I-LAND and later went on to join ENHYPEN. Heeseung was also a trainee under Big Hit Music.
