Interestingly, the Malayalam version of "Drishyam 3" will release six months before Ajay Devgn’s Hindi version, which is slated to hit theaters in October 2026. Mohanlal reprises his role as Georgekutty, a character that has defined the franchise across its first two films. The new poster bears a striking resemblance to the visual tone of the first instalment.
The tagline of "Drishyam 3" reads, “Past Never Stays Silent,” hinting that the crime at the center of the original film will continue to cast its shadow in the third chapter. Director Jeethu Joseph has previously indicated that this instalment may lean less heavily on conventional thriller tropes, suggesting audiences temper their expectations on that front. That, however, has done little to dampen the excitement.
"Drishyam 3" is reportedly gearing up for one of the largest releases in Malayalam cinema, with documents circulating online claiming an extensive rollout.
