‘Dhurandhar 2’ Worldwide Box-Office: Ranveer Singh-starrer Becomes Biggest Indian Preview Grosser

“Dhurandhar 2,” featuring Ranveer Singh, has hit screens worldwide and is already setting box-office milestones. In paid previews, the spy actioner has earned ₹52.50 crore gross, becoming the biggest domestic preview grosser and breaking the record of Pawan Kalyan’s “They Call Him OG,” which collected ₹25 crore gross during its premiere shows.

“Dhurandhar 2” had the widest paid preview screening for an Indian film, with 9,000 shows across 6,000 screens. Despite the cancellation of several dubbed shows due to glitches and delays in Hindi shows, the film has managed to shatter every record by a mile.

In the overseas market, North America accounted for the largest share, with $2.5 million, as “Dhurandhar 2” became the biggest Indian premiere grosser, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” ($1.2 million) by a wide margin. The Aditya Dhar-directed film currently stands at a total of 75 crore, making it the biggest Indian premiere grosser globally, as per Sacnilk.

With rave reviews and excellent word of mouth, “Dhurandhar 2” is now aiming to become the highest first-day grosser for a Hindi film. While the film is dominating across the country, Pawan Kalyan-starrer “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” is giving this Bollywood movie a run for its money in the Telugu-speaking states.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, “Dhurandhar 2” will see R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor and Rakesh Bedi reprising their roles from the first part. The music of the film is composed by Shashwat Sachdev and the camera is cranked by Vikash Nowlakha.
