Hosla. Eendhan. Badla.
Three words. Three beats.
Aditya Dhar’s "Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge" trailer opens with a black-and-white throwback to the first chapter, but it doesn’t linger in nostalgia for long. Instead, it quickly shifts gears and moves into the next chapter.
Who takes charge after Rehman Dakait? What becomes of Lyari? And how will the power players make their next move on this ever-shifting chessboard of crime and revenge?
The brief seems clear. The second chapter unfolds largely from the perspective of Hamza Ali, aka Jaskirat Rangi. Ranveer Singh owns every frame. Clean-shaven or sporting the signature beard, it hardly matters because, most of the time, his eyes do the heavy lifting.

Music plays a crucial role throughout the trailer. Dhar’s soundtrack from the first film still holds strong and continues to dominate the charts. It’s no surprise, then, that the beats, hooks and melodic punches in the trailer are carefully placed to build momentum and anticipation.
Sanjay Dutt’s single line lands like a centrepiece moment, while Rakesh Bedi’s cheeky “white buttocks” quip feels destined to become the next viral WhatsApp forward. Dhar has clearly taken his time cutting this trailer. It demands multiple viewings to catch the layered clues and Easter eggs hidden in the most unexpected corners.
Noticeably absent is Akshaye Khanna, whose character met his end in the first film. But will flashbacks revisit his role in shaping the events that follow?
Bigger, bolder and more ambitious in scale, "Dhurandhar 2" looks firmly focused on expanding its world. As far as follow-up trailers go, this is one of the most gripping promotional assets to emerge from Indian cinema in a long time.
The question now is simple.
Are you ready? March 19 is almost here!
