‘Dhurandhar 2’ Box-Office: Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh Deliver India’s Biggest Premiere Ever

“Dhurandhar The Revenge” has officially opened to a record-breaking response at the Indian box office. Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh's spy actioner has amassed an unprecedented 44 crore net from its paid premiere shows — setting an all-time highest premiere collection record in India, comfortably surpassing the previous record holder, Pawan Kalyan's "They Call Him OG," which had earned over21 crore net from its preview screenings.

Dhurandhar 2” is projected to challenge all the major box office records, and its thunderous start through paid premieres is a testament to just that. Most of the shows — even the ones that were later cancelled due to delay in print delivery — reported a high occupancy rate, underlining the immense anticipation surrounding this film. Kudos to the makers who recognized the audience demand and scheduled extensive premiere screenings a day ahead of the official Thursday release, as44 crore earned through these shows will only serve as a boost ahead of its official opening day.

With the excellent word of mouth from audiences across the country, this film is going to be unstoppable at the box office. Aditya Dhar has delivered a more expansive, engaging and entertaining sequel, and audiences will be lapping it up and celebrating the film by going for multiple shows. Looking ahead, the film is targeting a historic opening with nearly 80 crore on the first day and around350 crore over the weekend. As for the lifetime, at this point in time and with the current trend, the film is eyeing surpassing all previous benchmarks set by Indian cinema.

Region-wise, “Dhurandhar 2” performed the best in Maharashtra, with Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana and Gujarat also emerging as the top contributors to the premiere collections. Top-performing states for premiere collections are as follows:
