Darshan Raval drops ‘Saathiya’, calls it “one of the most honest love songs” he’s made

Days after performing his [then] unreleased song, "Saathiya" to a live audience at one of his concerts, Indian pop singer Darshan Raval released the single today (Feb. 25), accompanied with a lyric video. A music video is expected to follow soon.

The young singer's repertoire of love songs is one of the most expansive in modern Indian pop. Raval, who has had a growing fandom (collectively called 'Blue Family') from the early days of his career, to breaking out as a music reality star with "India's Raw Star" and following it up with a flourishing music career across his independent pop and Bollywood career.

Known for his intense love songs, Darshan Raval is also something of a streaming phenomenon. With 14M monthly listeners on Spotify, 4.36 M subscribers on YouTube and 18.7M followers on Instagram, he is also one the country's most followed singers.

The latest single marks his first romantic ballad of 2026. Darshan has composed and written the lyrics for the song with producer credits going to Anmol Daniel. Shreya Phukan joins him for a refrain in the middle. “The innocence and vulnerability in 'Saathiya' define love in its purest form. It is one of the most honest love songs I’ve made,” he shares.

Raval's most recent live outings were in the cities of Lucknow, Baroda, Patna and Jaipur.
