‘Dacoit’ Trailer Review: Adivi Sesh-Mrunal Thakur’s Intense Love-Story-Turned-Revenge-Drama Promises a Compelling Watch
After a long wait, the trailer of Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur- starrer “Dacoit” has finally been released today by the makers. The gritty love story promises to take the audience on a rollercoaster ride as the promo is packed with strong emotions of drama and betrayal.
The 203-second trailer narrates the journey of two dacoits, followed by their layered backstories and how the betrayal of Juliet (played by Mrunal) leaves Hari shattered and now hungry for revenge.

While Anurag Kashyap has a blink-and-miss appearance, his role adds a surprise element to the narrative of “Dacoit.”
Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the love story is smartly blended with massy action sequences, thus making it an interesting watch for the cinegoers.
The meaning of the dialogues in both Hindi and Telugu trailers is almost similar. However, in a particular scene where Sesh is pointing a gun at a person, covering his face, the Hindi one-liner gives the reference of Allu Arjun from “Pushpa,” while in the Telugu promo, it has the reference of Mahesh Babu.
In addition to its leads, “Dacoit” brings together a powerful ensemble of Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni and Sunil, hinting at a film driven by strong performances.
Marking Shaneil Deo’s directorial debut, the film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang. The film’s story and screenplay have been crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. It is set to hit the screens on April 10, 2026.
