‘Cocktail 2’ Sets June Release; Teaser to Debut With ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’
The sequel to the popular romantic drama “Cocktail” has officially locked its release window. “Cocktail 2,” starring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon, is set to arrive in theatres this June. The makers announced the release date alongside a set of character posters that reveal the first looks of the film’s three leads.
In addition to the posters, the team has confirmed that the teaser of “Cocktail 2” will be attached to the theatrical run of “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” starring Ranveer Singh. Audiences attending the paid previews and early shows of the action spectacle will be among the first to get a glimpse of the upcoming romantic drama. The teaser will debut exclusively in cinemas next Wednesday, building anticipation for the next chapter of the beloved franchise.

“Cocktail 2” is directed by Homi Adajania, who also helmed the original “Cocktail,” released in 2012. The first film starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty, and went on to become a fan favourite for its stylish take on modern relationships.
The newly released posters provide a brief look at the film’s central characters. In his poster, Kapoor is seen leaning against a car door while looking directly into the camera against a scenic backdrop. Mandanna appears to be capturing a picturesque moment during a road trip, suggesting a travel driven narrative. Sanon’s poster offers a more intriguing image, showing her resting in the back seat of a car, with the frame focusing on her feet. One foot features a tattoo that reads “Catch The Sea.”
While the visuals hint at a breezy and stylish world, the makers have kept the plot largely under wraps for now. “Cocktail 2” is produced by Maddock Films along with Luv Ranjan.
