‘Chand Mera Dil’: Lakshya-Ananya Panday-starrer To Lock Horns With ‘Bandar’ And ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’
The makers of the Lakshya and Ananya Panday film have dropped a couple of posters to pique curiosity among the audience. The film is set to hit the screens on May 22.
While the audience is excited about this love story, the film is set to lock horns with Bobby Deol-starrer “Bandar” and Aman Indra Kumar and Akanksha Sharma’s “Tera Yaar Hoon Main.”
Among these three Hindi releases, “Chand Mera Dil” and “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” target the same audience with their similar genre of romance and drama. On the other hand, Bobby’s “Bandar” is a crime thriller, in the signature style of Anurag Kashyap.

While May 22 is crowded with new releases, it’s anybody’s guess as to how they will fare at the box office.
Bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, “Chand Mera Dil” is directed by Vivek Soni, who previously helmed two Netflix projects, Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dasani’s "Meenakshi Sundareshwar" and R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh-starrer "Aap Jaisa Koi" (both produced by Johar).
During the announcement of the film in November 2024, Karan had dubbed “Chand Mera Dil” as an "intense & passionate love story", writing, "Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai..."(One has got to be a little crazy in love)
Of the two stars in “Chand Mera Dil”, Lakshya’s was last seen in “The Ba***ds of Bollywood” while Ananya’s previous outing was “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” alongside Kartik Aaryan.
