BTS: As SUGA Turns 33, Fans Light Up Seoul And Other Cities To Celebrate ‘MinMarch’
BTS’s SUGA (real name: Min Yoongi) has turned 33. One of the pillars of Bangtan Sonyeondan, SUGA is a composer, rapper, songwriter and musician. The idol, who is from Daegu, is hailed as one of the most talented personalities in the world of K-pop. SUGA has achieved success with his solo songs, collaborations as well as for his music in BTS. His D-Day tour in the US was the most successful one by an Asian soloist. On the occasion of his birthday, fans all over the world have organized projects to show their love for Min Yoongi.
Over the years, SUGA has earned the love and respect of fans for his artistry and honesty. SUGA has often spoken about the need for empathy in modern society. Now, everyone is keenly looking forward to their fifth studio album, "ARIRANG" that will be out on March 20 on major music platforms. BTS's fifth album has 14 songs and they will also hold a live performance on Gwanghwamun Square, which will be broadcast on Netflix on March 21. SUGA along with RM and J-Hope are involved in 11 songs where he has taken part of a producer or a songwriter. His collaborations with IU (real name: Lee Ji-eun), Suran (real name: Shin Su-ran) and Gangnam Style hitmaker PSY have been successful too.
