BLACKPINK Members Skip ‘DEADLINE’ Pre-Listening Event Attended By South Korean President And The First Lady
BLACKPINK, the biggest Korean girl group is coming out with its new album, “DEADLINE” tomorrow. The album is being discussed as fans speculate that some of the tracks were leaked on various platforms. The promotions for the album have started in earnest and today the National Museum of South Korea turned pink in honor of the idol group, which enjoys huge global popularity. “DEADLINE” is the third EP of the girl group. Today, a showcase of the songs was held at the National Museum which was attended by South Korean President, Lee Jae-myung and his wife, Kim Hea Kyung. The ‘National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK” initiative is scheduled from Feb. 27 to March 8.

None of the BLACKPINK members were present at the pre-listening event. Lee Jae-myung and his wife looked animated as they listened to the new songs of the album. Two days back, they unveiled the music teaser of their song, “GO,” which has a futuristic sci-fi concept. It is directed by Rima Yoon of Rigend Film who has directed music videos for groups like XG, aespa, ADP and others. “DEADLINE” has songs like “JUMP,” “Champion,” “Fxxxboy,” and the B-Side, “Me and my.”
BLACKPINK members have been busy with solo and group projects. Lisa was seen shooting in Indonesia for her upcoming action-thriller, “Tygo”, which is a spin-off of the “Extraction” universe. It also stars Ma Dong-seok and Lee Jin-wook. Singer Kim Jisoo’s Korean drama, “Boyfriend On Demand” is coming on March 6 on Netflix. Seo In-guk is her male co-star. The album is dropping tomorrow. BLACKPINK had been touring in 2025 with breaks in between stops. “DEADLINE” is their third mini album and everyone is keen to see how BLACKPINK expands its musical boundaries this time!
