BAFTA Film Awards 2026 Winners: ‘One Battle After Another’ Takes Home 6 Awards, ‘Sinners’ And ‘Frankenstein’ Win 3 Awards Each

The 79th BAFTA Film Awards were held on Sunday night at the Royal Festival Hall of London. It is the biggest movie awards night in the UK and one of the most recognized ones globally. Alan Cumming of "The Traitors" hosted the evening. A number of big stars were in attendance including the nominees and presenters. "One Battle After Another" won awards for Best Picture and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson. "One Battle After Another" star Sean Penn won the award for Best Supporting Actor. "Sinners" actress Wunmi Mosaku won for Best Supporting Actress. Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" swept the awards in the production design, makeup and hair and costume design categories.

The biggest shocker was that "Marty Supreme" did not win a single award despite 11 nominations at the BAFTA Awards. Robert Aramayo picked up the Best Actor award beating Timothee Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio. He also won the EE Rising Star Award. Here is a look at the complete winners list.
