Yash Led ‘Toxic’ Lands Massive ₹120 Crore AP–TG Deal With Dil Raju’s SVC (EXCLUSIVE)
While we are still over a month away from the release, Yash starrer “Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups" has become one of the most viral topics on the internet, making the film one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Turns out the makers have now cracked a massive deal for the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana distribution rights. KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations have joined hands with Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), led by Dil Raju, to distribute the film in AP-TG circles in a deal that has cost a staggering ₹120 crore.
Officially marking one of the biggest acquisitions ever for a non-Telugu origin film, there were reportedly three major contenders aggressively vying for the AP–TG rights. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups" is certainly the hottest property for the big screens alongside Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar: The Revenge" across the country. The frenzy for the Yash starrer has probably led to the deal being set at such a high value.
